In compliance with the Government of Dubai, Novo Cinemas will implement all Social Distancing and safety regulations along with introducing general health and safety measures. These include the following:

• Temperature checks are required prior to entry

• Wearing a face mask is mandatory

• Hand sanitising using the sanitisers provided

• Online tickets purchase

• Social distancing of 2 meters apart

• Contactless payments are encouraged

• Social distancing maintained inside the theatre

• Social distancing when queuing

• Age limits stated by authorities will be applied, and our staff may need to verify the age by seeing your Emirates ID card

• Compliance with the stated safety measures is legally required in all areas within the cinema

• For dining in, F&B experiences & take away containers disposable cutlery will be used

• Rigorous sanitisation routines will be implemented at all touchpoints

• For sanitisation and cleaning, materials used are those approved by Dubai Municipality

• Touchless sanitisers are placed around the cinema

• Staff will be wearing masks and gloves at all times

• Staff temperature will be checked regularly

• Staff will maintain a high level of personal hygiene

Smoking is not allowed inside the cinema premises or the cinema halls.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the cinema halls.
The cinema reserves the right to do random checks of all bags at the hall entrance.
All recording devices are strictly prohibited inside the cinema halls.
Novo cinemas strictly adheres to the film-rating regulations of the UAE and reserves the right to refuse admission if proof of age is not provided.

Novo Cinemas strictly adheres to movie ratings as mandated by the National Media Council. Our guests must ensure that they purchase tickets in line with the listed movie-ratings. We regret that no refunds or exchanges will be allowed on any purchased movie tickets that do not conform to these movie ratings.

The Ministry of Information and Culture has set out the details for each rating as follows:

18 TBC	Rated 18+ until confirmed by the National Media Council. Entry to the cinema must comply with the age restriction of final confirmed rating. Booking prior to confirmed rating is solely at the discretion of the guest.
18+	No persons under 18 years of age will be admitted. Kids and Infants are strictly not allowed for 18+ rated movies.
15+	No persons under 15 years of age will be admitted. Kids and Infants are strictly not allowed for 15+ rated movies.
pg 15	Parental/ Guardian Guidance is required for below 15 years of age. Please note content may not be appropriate for 15 years and below. Booking is solely at the discretion of parents/guardians.
pg 13	Parental/ Guardian Guidance is required for persons below 13 years of age. Please note that content may not be appropriate for 13 years and below. Booking is solely at the discretion of parents/guardians.
pg	Parental / Guardian Guidance is required for all children
0-3	Only children under the age of three years are admitted free of charge (without seat/ 3D glasses)
g	General Exhibition - open for all ages

Please note that it is against the law for underage persons to enter Restricted Movies, even if accompanied by their parents. You may be asked for identification to prove your age.
